Our Gig Harbor family dentistry includes dental cleanings. Hygiene appointments are the best method to keep your natural smile and to prevent bigger, expensive problems. Shelley and Cori, our dental hygienists, will perform a gentle (but thorough!) cleaning to get rid of the tartar and plaque on your smile. We will perform a thorough exam, which includes:

• Digital x-rays

• Bite exam

These bi-annual checkups give you the opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions you have with your oral and overall health. You control the appointment and we’ll never pressure you into anything you’re not comfortable with.

Gums are the supporting foundation for healthy teeth. If your gums aren’t healthy, your smile won’t be healthy; it could lead to tooth loss. You may have early symptoms of periodontal (gum) disease if you’re experiencing:
