Meet Dr. Jim Aichlmayr
Your small-town dentist in Gig Harbor.
Doing Everything Possible To Help You
‘‘I am a small-town doctor running a family dental practice here in Gig Harbor. I take my time and treat everyone like family; that is our mantra here at Harbor View Dentistry."
Dr. Jim Aichlmayr grew up in a small town – the type of town where everyone knew everyone and helped each other out.
That mentality is what started Harbor View Dentistry – where we are a family helping family, where Dr. Aichlmayr and his team do what it takes to get you the right dental care you need, where we are transparent and honest but NEVER pushy. Harbor View Dentistry is all about you, the patient, and we love it.

I started my dental career as an assistant, but realized my true passion was in dental hygiene. I graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1989 where I received my Dental Hygiene certification. I believe that educating my patients with proper techniques and tools is a key element in helping them improve their overall health. I can’t wait to make your smile sparkle!
Dental Assistant/Office Coordinator
I was born and raised in Tacoma. After high school, I immediately enrolled in Clover Park dental assisting program because of my crazy fascination with teeth. I have worked as a dental assistant ever since and I love my job! I feel so fortunate to work with such a great team and so many amazing patients at Harbor View Dentistry. I truly just enjoy making my patients smile!
I am a Gig Harbor native. I moved away after high school and decided to move back since I missed my hometown. I have been in the dental field since 2011 and I absolutely love it! I love meeting new people and discussing Gig Harbor’s community. I am married with two fur babies, a Corgi, and an Aussie.
