On Saturday Dr. Aichlmayr went to a Mushroom Foray with Kitsap Peninsula Mycological Society. You might remember that he became a member of the society last week after attending their annual mushroom show. The society holds these members only events multiple times each month. Members of the society learn about edible and inedible mushrooms, and become more knowledgeable about the fungus surrounding us in our area. They foraged for edible mushrooms and BONUS he was able to bring home several selections!!
Dr. Aichlmayr has been so impressed with this welcoming and fun group! He also enjoys the shared knowledge about mushrooms. What a fun weekend activity!
